In July 2026, we began contributing monthly to Women4Women Brooklyn, a Carroll Gardens nonprofit supporting women survivors of domestic violence. This page shares our progress, and we will continue to update it with real numbers, dates, and impact stories as our giving grows.

Our rings celebrate the most hopeful moments of people's lives. Yet we know that many women in our own city are navigating fear, instability, or recovery. As a woman owned Brooklyn studio, we cannot celebrate love in one room and ignore harm in another. We are designing this project to support women and families in Brooklyn and New York City who are:

We work with established organizations in New York City, such as those providing shelter, trauma informed counseling, legal support, and crisis response. Our first partner is Women4Women Brooklyn, a Carroll Gardens nonprofit serving women survivors of domestic violence. How Our Giving Model Works
Because we are a small independent studio, we want our giving model to be thoughtful, realistic, and sustainable.

Whenever we select a partner organization, we look for work that touches at least one of these pillars and serves people in Brooklyn or the greater New York City area.

Internal Foundations Completed (2025)
In preparation for launching the Brooklyn Love Restoration Project™, we have already completed the foundational internal work required to begin partnering with local organizations in the future. In July 2026, we began monthly contributions to Women4Women Brooklyn, a Carroll Gardens nonprofit helping women survivors of domestic violence build financial independence through housing support, job training, legal guidance, and emergency funding. We are committed to sustaining this monthly giving and will provide updates as things progress and grow.
Phase 3 - Ongoing Annual Giving
Status: Planned
After our first contributions, we aim to establish a rhythm of annual giving that grows as we grow. Each year, we will add simple, honest entries here so you can see the story of this project alongside the story of our studio.
Phase 4 - Beyond Brooklyn
Status: Sue's dream
After we have given consistently for several years, we will publish audited financial statements showing that we are donating ten percent of our profits. Not because anyone asked. Because we said we would, and proof is how trust is built.
But money is only part of it.
Sue's deepest hope is to one day travel to the places where the diamond industry left its scars, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Angola, not to write a check from a distance, but to be present. To help build schools. To bring supplies. To sit with the women and children who were never part of the luxury conversation and listen.
Because there is one currency that is equal to every human being on earth, no matter how much money you have or what you do for a living. That currency is time.
And when the day comes that this studio can afford to give not just money but time, Sue will be there. Not for a photo. Not for a story. Because love, real love, eventually asks you to show up.
