Why New York City Couples Choose Haejin Jewelry
There are a lot of places to buy a wedding band in New York. Department stores with fluorescent lighting. Chain jewelers where the salesperson works on commission. Online retailers where you never see the ring until it arrives in a box. Haejin Jewelry is none of those things.
We are a woman-owned studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn that welcomes walk-ins and offers private appointments. Every band is made to order with 100% recycled gold. Our founder, Sue Kim, works directly with every client. There is no sales team, no call center, no middleman. When you email us, Sue responds. When you visit, Sue is the one sitting across from you.
Couples from New York City and neighborhoods across Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island come to our studio because they want something different. They want a band that feels like theirs. They want to understand exactly what they're buying. They want to try on widths and profiles and see how the light hits the metal before they commit.
Our wedding bands start at $1,200 for a plain gold band in the Band Atelier. Eternity bands with lab-grown diamonds start around $800. We show you the price upfront. There are no hidden fees, no "call for pricing" games, and no pressure to spend more than you planned.
We welcome all couples. Every love story is worth a ring that was made with care.
Questions from New York City Couples
What Our Clients Say
"Personal care from an expert jeweler. Sue reached out to me directly, helped me design the ring, helped me pick out a diamond, and negotiated on my behalf. I got a great deal for the size and quality of diamond and it's so beautiful. Honestly couldn't be happier."
"I had no idea what I wanted but Sue helped guide and educate me. She encouraged me to take my time in my decision as it was a big one! I didn't see the final creation until I was proposed to and I was blown away. Truly exactly what I wanted. I am so happy to support a small business in my neighborhood."
"Unlike other places I visited, it was obvious that Sue really cared about finding what was best for us, and not just trying to sell us the most expensive ring possible. If you go with Haejin you absolutely will not regret it and you will receive something better than you ever could've imagined."
"She helped me create the ring of my dreams. Sue involved me in the whole process, so I got to see the stone in person before moving forward, and got a mockup of the design as it was being made. The result is unreal. Local, woman-owned, and realistic pricing...I can't say enough good things about Haejin Jewelry."
"She guided me, explained all the different options, we iterated together to find something which my partner would like and then she manufactured our dream ring for us. Sue is incredibly warm and kind and I can only recommend anyone to go to her. My fiancee immediately said yes and she thinks the ring is 'just perfect.'"
"From the very beginning Sue made the entire experience feel so easy, thoughtful, and personal. She found the most incredible antique elongated cushion stone. Truly the ring I had been searching for my whole life, even in my dreams!! I truly cannot recommend Haejin enough."
